School will dismiss at 12noon on Friday, February 26th so that students can support their Lady Eagles as they play in the Final Four at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Ga. The game is scheduled for 2:30pm. Final Four T-shirts are being sold through the school for $10. Order deadline is 3pm Tuesday, February 23rd.

School will dismiss at 1pm on Thursday, February 11th so that students can support their fellow Eagles as they play for region at Briarwood Academy in Warrenton, Ga. The girls will play at 4pm and the boys will play at 8:30pm.

The Athletic Booster Club is actively seeking donations for the following items:

• A 32" to 42" flat screen TV, wall mount, and DVD player to be used to play game film in boys' locker room.
• Construction of a cement walkway between the weight room, boys' locker room, and gym door.
• A chainlink fence beside the walkway between the weight room and boys' locker room to aid in crowd control during baseball and softball games.
• Repair of existing chainlink fence at the driveway gate of the football field.

REMINDER: January 18th is a regular school day and students are encouraged to "Invite a Friend to School". This is a make-up day and will be a half day. School will dismiss at 12 noon.

Wristbands n remembrance of Chad Ellison are still available in the school office for $5. If you would like to order a "Flash" t-shirt, you may pick up and order form in the office also.

On Saturday, January 9th, DEA will host rival Bulloch Academy in a set of basketball games beginning at 2pm. Any student that is not currently enrolled at DEA and is accompanied by a current DEA student will be admitted for free to the games.
